Apfelstrudel is a song that CP's sister Elisabeth taught us. When Gaby and Malena were over the other day, we thought it important that they learn Apfelstrudel, too. Again, this is the song for kids, not the dessert
If you're looking for some music to this, you'll have to look elsewhere. Maybe it's out there and could compare to Apple Scruffs on All Things Must Pass, or Glen Millier's Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree, but until then, these photos will suffice.

As for Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree, it was written by Lew Brown, Charles Tobias and Sam H. Stept. (Thanks guys!) The most famous Miller recording of the song was recorded in New York City on February 18, 1942 by Glenn and His Orchestra (two months and a half after the attack on Pearl Harbor). The male vocals on the recording were by Ray Eberle and the Modernaires. The female vocals were by Marion Hutton (Betty Hutton's sister). source
